VisionTech Angels is hosting a special virtual pitch event on July 1st at 6 p.m. featuring Indiana-based ChuqLab. The company’s product uses natural language processing software and listening to record and transcribe jail calls or use in cases. The ‘first value’ a customer receives is just the ability to print a call and add it to a file. Currently, prosecutors pay interns to listen to recorded calls. The current process is inefficient and prone to errors. The transcripts can be used by both prosecutors and public defenders as evidence.
